The Purpose

My name is Riya, and I made this website for a school project. I want to go into the medical field one day, and my teacher and I thought this project was a great way to give me a head start on the path to reach my goal. I have enjoyed doing this project, and I have learned many things. Everything I have learned is shown in my videos and blog. 

What Makes a Good Pediatrician? 

By definition, a pediatrician is a children's doctor. I don't believe that a good pediatrician is made by a degree. I think it's what is on the inside that matters. A good pediatrician understands his or her patients. He or she doesn't get bitter no matter how annoying the patients are. They handle each and every child with love. I've also noticed that children behave well with doctors they like and trust. A pediatrician first needs to win the child's heart for the child to respond to his or her doctor. It's not easy, but it can be done. I have learned everything I know from one of the best pediatricians out there, my dad.
